Museum is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00.
Entrance is free-of-charge.
The Museum is closed on Mondays, the first day of Ramadan and Sacrifice Feast as well as 1st of January.
Isbank Museum is also accessible to psychically handicapped people; they can visit the whole area of the museum on a wheelchair.
An audio guide in Turkish and English is available to adults and children. Please inform the staff at the entrance if you wish to make use of the guide.
The museum also offers free-of-charge Wi-Fi connection.
Visitors can get more detailed information about the collections by way of the QR codes, which are available in the exhibition halls, readable by mobile phones.
Visitors are allowed to take photos and short video images in the museum only for personal use, during which flashlight, selfie stick and tripod should not be used. Usage of the images taken in the museum in any way and form other than personal purpose and sharing, reproduction, processing, sale and similar forms of usage are subject to the prior permission of the museum’s administration. The museum reserves its right to take legal action against those who make use of such images without permission.
The Transportation Coordination Centre of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has included the area of Eminonu in the District of Fatih, where the museum is located, in the project devised to pedestrianize the area. The area is closed to traffic between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m everyday.
The museum is located at walking distance from the ferry and motorboat piers in Eminonu and Sirkeci, tram station in Eminonu, Marmaray station in Sirkeci and bus stations in Eminonu.
The museum offers no parking lots.
